Advocating
We want to make the education system simple and successful for each student by building a partnership between the school and the family that is founded in kindness, communication and the belief that the child can be successful with the right types of supports. Given the fact that I have lived the family member experience, the researcher experience, the teacher experience and the administrators experience, I am in a unique position to have great in-depth knowledge about best practices, and promote collaboration around the students’ success in a way that both the family, the student and the teachers feel empowered to take action.

Tutoring
We used research-based practices that are individualized for each student’s unique learning profile to maximize student growth. Regular checks are used to provide instruction to students that is at their exact point of learning in a pace that is fast but also successful. Parent communication of progress and student ownership of progress is also at the forefront of the tutoring ensuring the child knows that they are capable of anything they put their minds to.

He is MUCH happier. Thank you doesn’t express my gratitude. You changed his life and the life of ALL of the kids in the special education classroom. You are literally my hero.
Jen Crowell, Parent

Amy is an invaluable resource for me in navigating the often confusing world of education for a neurodivergent child. She is able to give concise, easy-to-understand advice & provides numerous resources to use both at home and at school. She is very responsive & honestly, is a lifesaver. I don’t know where we’d be without her wisdom & guidance. I consider her my guardian angel in the autism world.
Michelle Fitton, Parent

The knowledge and skills Amy instilled in me were the greatest gift to my reluctant readers. Amy’s devotion to helping me troubleshoot unique challenges created opportunities for every student to progress. I know I am a more effective teacher after working with Amy
